Labour brings 3000 jobs to Glasgow with the building of new aircraft carriers in Glasgow.
This story highlights a line labour should take in the by election. The labour government has brought 3000 jobs to Glasgow with it's plans to build the new aircraft carriers in the the UK. This gives real industrial long term skilled jobs to the country. Jobs that give people a real income and pride. In the same story it has been quoted that the contract will also bring 1600 jobs to Rosyth, 400 to Barrow in Furness in north west England and an incredible 1200 to the Southern English city of Portsmouth (a famous navy city). This will help the economy of industrial areas of the UK, reinvesting in the people, and giving people pride. Could any other party have done this? Nope. I think the Tories would not want to reinvest in the industrial areas of the UK. I ask tories what is it you don't like about 11 years of economic growth and giving real skilled jobs to real people? ::
